Throughout these winter months, we have taken some inspiration from the year 7s in food tech P7 to try and encapsulate the warm, easy and comforting snack. These sausage rolls are perfect for winter warmers- but can also act as the perfect picnic food for when the days become a little brighter! If you want a fuss free roll of joy, requiring only three ingredients these sausage rolls are perfect for you!
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry
- 2 sasuages
Instructions:
- Roll out the block of pastry into a rectangle.
- De-skin the sausages and mould the meat onto the pastry in two horizontal lines.
- Cut the pastry in half and fold over to encase the meat.
- Fork the edges and brush with an egg wash and cut into bite size sausage rolls.
- Cook in the oven for 15 minutes until golden.
