The Greens are back in action today as Gordon’s 1st VII face Wellington College in a highly anticipated clash on court.

After a busy start to the season, the 1st VII will be looking to put their recent experience against some of the country’s strongest school sides into action. Wellington are no strangers to Gordon’s, having already faced the Greens at the Gordon’s Invitational earlier this term.

That tournament provided a taste of the quality of opposition the team can expect. Wellington’s U18 side went unbeaten in their group before reaching the semi-finals, while Gordon’s also competed against top regional schools.

Now, with the two sides meeting again, there is plenty to play for.

Expect a fast-paced game, with both teams looking to dominate possession, force turnovers and convert chances under pressure. For Gordon’s, it is another opportunity for the 1st VII to show the progress they have made and make their mark against a strong Wellington side.

FCP at 4:30pm. All eyes are on the court.
