Gordon’s School U18 Girls’ Rugby Union squad delivered an impressive display of grit and determination at the Rugby Invitational held on 27 February, proudly “Bleeding Green” on the 3G throughout the day. The team performed strongly in the pool stages, securing a well‑earned second place overall, which advanced them into the semi-finals against Tiffin Girls’ School.
Although the semi-final did not go their way, the squad’s performance across the tournament was nothing short of outstanding. Across six fiercely contested matches, the girls claimed four victories, demonstrating consistency, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.
Speaking after the tournament, team member Maya praised the collective effort but highlighted the exceptional performances of Charlotte and Issie, noting their unwavering determination and leadership on the pitch. The team’s spirit and cohesion were evident throughout the day, marking the event as a significant achievement for the squad.
