This Sunday, 23 November, Gordon’s first team netball will be taking part in the Independent School League Netball Tournament at Worcester University.
It’s an incredible opportunity for us to play at a high standard against some of the best schools in the country. We are both truly excited and grateful to be a part of this amazing event.
This is our second year being invited to the tournament and we are extremely privileged.
The whole team is ready and motivated to bring our best gameplay and we are aiming to give our absolute best. We are looking forward to the outcomes of this event as it will help us as a team to continue to develop as well as guide our preparations for regionals which is coming up in January next year.
The team has been working hard at training to prepare for these tournaments and our coaches have been impressed with the squad’s progress. In particular, our coaches have commented on the fact that we are already working together so well as a team, considering we only became a squad in September.
Our motto is to ‘Kill with Kindness’ – we will be implementing that into our play on Sunday.
