The Out of the Blue Acapella Concert was held on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026. Performing at the Wynter Bee Theatre, the Oxford male acapella group charmed and enthralled audiences with a stunning medley of popular songs (including singing in Mandarin). The band quickly captivated the theatre with wonderful vocals and intricate harmonies for the evening, featuring songs such as Raye’s Where is My Husband!, Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire and many other popular hits.
Throughout the previous afternoon, Out of the Blue had worked tirelessly with both the Junior Girls and Boys Choirs on a mystery song, ready to perform it on the night. The collaboration was particularly one of the highlights of the evening; singing to California Girls by Katy Perry, each group offered something wonderful to the musical table.
The evening continued with the group including the classic I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by the Proclaimers, a medley of songs from Frozen and Frozen 2, and many others followed. To finish off the extravagant night, Out of the Blue performed a jazzy rendition of Rock Your Body as the finale and received a standing ovation from the thrilled audience!
Offering beautiful melodies and audience-engaging talent, the Out of the Blue acapella group were truly wonderful to see on stage. So good, you could even say… it was completely out of the blue.
